casting: Cape Fear

               
Cape Fear is a Martin Scorsese film of 1991. It has comedy, drama, suspense, action/adventure, or whatever you like. It has it all.

Yes, it already is a remake. but it 20 years old. With Cameos from the original.

This is my imagining. It may not be the best casting ever but I am going by the 1991 version. Thats the version I know best.
 

CAPE FEAR.....

LORI DAVIS: the woman Sams having an affair with. She gets it when she talks to Max Cady.

Sasha Spielberg: Steve and Kates daughter. This could jump-start her carrer.


JUDGE:  an un-named Judge that sentences a restraining order on Sam from Cady.

My Choice:

James Rebhorn. One of my favorite charcter actors of all-time.


TOM BROADBENT: Sams good friend and law firm partner

My Choice:

Powers Boothe. He would make an excellent lawyer, he doesn't put up with crap.


LEE HALLER: the greatest and deepest voiced criminal lawyer in Georgia.
Originally: Gregory Peck(a cameo)
My Choice:

Sam Elliott. One of the greatest actors of all time. He perfect for the role.


CHEIF  ELGART:  the towns police cheif. A old wise man.
Originally: Robert Mitchum(another cameo)
My Chioce:

John Larroquette. I know, I know, he should play the lawyer, but hes one of my favorites and good at important figures.

DECT. CLAUDE KERSEK: a private investigator that gets involved with the wrong person.
Originally: Joe Don Baker
My Choice:

James Gandolfini. Hes a really good actor. I could see him as a investigator.

DANIELLE BOWDEN: Sam and Leighs 15 year old daughter.
Originally: Juliette Lewis.
My Choice:


Abigail Breslin. This child actor is getting good at roles


LEIGH BOWDEN: Sams much younger wife.
Originally: Jessica Lange
My Chioce:

Teri Hatcher. She a pretty woman

SAMUEL "SAM" BOWDEN: a lawyer that buried a report 15 years ago and Cady is getting revenge on him.

My Chioce:

Tim Robbins. A good actor.He can paly anything.

MAX CADY: a crazy psychopath that wants revenge on Samuel Bowden.
Originally: Robert DeNiro.
My Choice:

Robert Downey Jr. He can do crazy. And he has to be named Robert. (Robert Mitchum, Robert DeNiro)
