Castin - - Murder on the Orient Express

Murder on the Orient Express is glamorous, extravigant and is gooing to cost aLOt of money to make.

In 1974, a movie with likes of Sean Connery, Richard Widmark, Lauren Bacall, Ingrid Bergman, and Anthony Perkins plus many more  got together and made a movie :Murder on the Orient Express.

The plot is simple: In 1935, while on the Orient Express, a snowstorm makes the train stop and an American millionaire is murdered onboard. Hercule Poirot is also aboard. With 13 suspects , 12 stab wounds and 2 other characters to help Poirot he must solve the crime before the police come.

Ingrid Bergman won an oscar for her preformance.

SAMUEL RACHETT "CASSETTI": the victim. an old and cranky man that killed a 5 year old causing 5 other deaths. Stabbed 12 times.

Ed Harris. Harris is great for the role I think. Hes smart and a box office success. I originally had James Caan in this role, but hes past 70 and Harris is 61. I'll go younger.

Eric Roberts. Hes not really Italian or famous, but he can act wel enough to pull it off.

CYRUS B. HARDMAN: the typical version of an American man in the thirties. One of the with in the opening star and title credits.

Peter Krause. I don't know much about him, so I You-tubed him and he seems good as a small role player.

HILDEGARGE SCHMITZ:a German nursemaid.

GRETA OLHSSON: a sweet sweet Swedish girl that is a missionairy. very sweet.

M. BOUNC: the director of the line; hes in another coach at the time of the murder.

Bill Pullman. I could see him with a mustache and a acsent and he would nail it.


MR. HERCULE POIROT: the detective.Agatha Christies greatest creation.

My Chioce:

Kenneth Branagh. Hes 5.9 and if he had a mustache just right he would be Hercule Poirot to me. I did have Daniel Day-Lewis but Branagh is shorter and more people like him.

Casting- - Judgment at Nuremberg

                         

Judgment at Nuremberg is a 1961 film about the Nuremberg trials. It was an all-star cast including Spencer Tracy, Burt Lancaster, Marlene Dietrich, Richard Widmark, Judy Garland, Montgomery Cliff and the then (and to some still) unknown Maximilian Schell.

In 1948, in Nuremberg, Germany the trails of four German judges who sentenced Jews to concentration camps.

CPT. HARRISON BYERS- a US Army captian that becomes Haywoods personal aid.

Benjamin Salisbury. From the Nanny


IRENE WALLER-A Jewish woman who doesnot want to testify about being sentenced to those camps but eventually does.

Christina Ricci. I dont know why I pick her, I had Anjelica Huston in mind, but I decided to go younger.


RUDOLF PETERSEN-A mentally disabled man that testifies about his parents sentencing. A one scene, oscar nominated role.

Ewan McGregor. Hes a great actor. Requires one scene.


MRS. BERTHOLT-a widowed Nazi officers wife, that befriends Haywood.

Emma Thompson. She may be too young, but with a little make-up here and there, she could do it.


HANS ROLFE- the German/French young lawyer that is defending the four judges.

Ben Whishaw. He looks European. The only problem with him is hes 30 and they cast him as Q in James Bond. Why cant they just bring back John Cleese!!!


COL. TED LAWSON- An US colonel doing the prosecution of the judges and is an execellent lawyer. Hes never lost a case, and hopes it to stay that way.

Dennis Quaid. I like Quaid and think he can play this role. Plus one of the few actors that WANTS to age like normal people...


DR. ERNST JANNING- The main German judge on trial

Gary Oldman. Im not a big fan of him as Gordon in Batman, but I think he could do this


JUDGE DAN HAYWOOD- the cheif judge on these trials. An old widowed American Southern judge

Tommy Lee Jones. In the original Haywoods from Masine, but to fit Jones' vioce and personality hes going to be from Texas(my state too)

Casting- - Tarzan of the Apes

                                

Tarzan the Ape man is Tarzans feature debute. An action adventure novel  set in 1912, when an English expedition lands on an "unchartered" island only to find Tarzan and his apes.
but what happens to this action-adventure: it turns into a love story!

                                         

Here is my version::(from the book to screen)

LORD & LADY GREYSTOKE (TARZANS PARENTS)-Tarzans mom and dad that their ship sinks when Tarzan is just a little baby and he ends up being raised by Gorillas and the jungle.

 

Peter Krause & Stacy Haiduk. Two character actors that can act well.

PAUL D'ARNOT-A French naval officer, that Tarzan rescues from natives in the jungle. Paul teaches Tarzan even more about human civilization. He teaches him the french language, as well as how to behave as a proper white man.

Jonathan Hyde. One of my favorites, he is the actors actor. From Titanic to Anaconda in the same year, he has done it all.

WILLIAM CLAYTON-Clayton is a hunter who came on the expedition with the Porters to be their body guard or protector. After treating Tarzan poorly and with very little respect however Clayton reveals that his true motives for being there are to capture the gorillas and make a large profit off of them.

Jeremy Northam. Hes not a very big man but he can do it.

DR. PORTER-Janes old and crazy widowed dad that is on a expition to find gorillas for his book or something. Hes man favorite character in these books/films.

John Hurt. A great English actor. Hes the only one I could think of that can pull this role off.

JANE PORTER- a pretty young proper English girl, that comes from a upper-class English family that is with her fatheron his expedition. She falls for Tarzan and Clayton at the same time.

Keira Knightley.I don't know why I picked her, I just did.

TARZAN (JOHN CLAYTON)-As a baby, Tarzans parents died by a gorilla and he was raised by them and learned how to fish and hunt unmong other things. He learns alittle English from Commander D'Arnot.

Nick Ayler.This model would be in his first film. Hes really good-looking and big and looks like how I envisioned Tarzan. He could do it I think. I can see the titles And introducing ...Nick Ayler as Tarzan

Casting - - Hairspray

In 1962 Baltimore, Maryland, plump teenager Tracy Turnblad's dream is to dance on The Corny Collins Show, a local TV dance program.When Tracy wins a role on the show, she becomes a celebrity overnight. She then launches a campaign to integrate the show.

Hairspray was made in 1988, then a Broadway musical in 2002, and now a movie in 2007.

MR. PINKY- who owns a dress shop called Mr. Pinky's Hefty Hideaway. He hires Tracy as his spokesgirl

John Astin. An old comedian in a small role.

HARIMAN F. SPLITZER- the owner of the "Ultra Clutch" company and the main sponsor of The Corny Collins Show. Although Mr. Spritzer prefers to keep The Corny Collins Show segregated, he will follow public opinion if it increases sales.

Mitch Ryan. A great old(83) character actor that is funnny and dramatic in the same scene.

PRUDY PINGLETON-Penny's mother, a zealous Catholic whose strict parenting keeps Penny from experiencing social life.

Bebe Neuwirth. She is a actress that can be in everything as every character.

SEAWEED J. STUBBS-Maybelle's son, a skilled dancer who teaches Tracy some dance moves and falls in love with her friend, Penny.

Tyler James Willams. He is Chris on Everybody Hates Chris.

LINK LARKIN-Amber's boyfriend and the lead male dancer on The Corny Collins Show. Link is a singer who becomes more attracted to Tracy.

Taylor Lautner. Hes the teen heartrob and that kind of actor needs to be played be that kind of role.

AMBER VON TUSSLE-Velma's bratty daughter and the lead female dancer on The Corny Collins Show. Amber becomes Tracy's enemy when Tracy threatens both Amber's chances of winning the "Miss Teenage Hairspray" crown and Amber's relationship with her boyfriend, Link.

Dianna Agron. Yes, Quinn on Glee.

MOTOURMOUTH MAYBELLE-a Baltimore Rhythm and Blues radio disc jockey who hosts "Negro Day" on The Corny Collins Show. Maybelle also runs a record shop on North Avenue.

Wanda Sykes. She can be funny and serious in the same role.

CORNY COLLINS-host of The Corny Collins Show, Corny's politically progressive attitudes lead him to fight his show's imposed segregation

Ryan Seacrest. He can sing and dance and be good-looking

PENNY PINGLETON-Tracy's best friend, a sheltered girl who falls in love with Seaweed, despite the efforts of her racist and stern mother

Miranda Cosgrove. I don't know alot about Disney actrors but I think she could do it.

WILBUR TURNBLAD-Tracys crazy and wierd dad that owns a joke shop.

Billy Crystal. He skinny and really funny. It was him or Dustin Hoffman and Crystal is more of the musical type to me.

VELMA VON TUSSLE- Manager of station WYZT, the racist, former beauty queen Velma is interested in keeping her daughter Amber in the spotlight and The Corny Collins Show segregated.

Jennifer Garner. Jennifer got the role because Michelle Pfeiffer was Velma in the 2007 adaption.

EDNA TURNBLAD-Tracy's mother and agent, an agoraphobe ashamed of her obesity. Role meant for a man in drag.

John Goodman. You all saw it comming, A fat laundry woman in a musical. The only man for the role.

TRACY TURNBLAD-An optimistic, overweight teenage girl who loves dancing, Tracy's racial color-blindness leads her to become an active supporter for the integration of The Corny Collins Show.

Ashley Fink. Lauren on Glee. She can sing, dance and carry the show, so whats the difference with a film.
